Levopront® is a syrup intended for the symptomatic treatment of a dry, non-productive cough, with a cherry flavor.
Levopront® does not have clinically significant interactions with beta₂-agonists, methylxanthines, corticosteroids, antibiotics, mucoregulators, and antihistamines. Also, it does not alter EEG findings, does not affect psychomotor abilities, does not cause cardiovascular changes or respiratory depression (including in patients with chronic respiratory insufficiency), and does not impair mucociliary clearance.
Levopront® should be administered until the cough stops or as advised by a doctor, but for no longer than 7 days.
Shelf life: The unopened medicine can be used for two years. After the first opening, it can be used until the stated expiry date, at a temperature up to 30°C.
The shelf life before the first opening of the medicine is two years; after opening, at a temperature up to 30°C, up to the end of the medicine’s stated expiry date at the latest.
