ACUVER® blefa

Cleans, softens, soothes, and maintains the hygiene of eyelids and eyelashes.
  • ACUVER® blefa are disposable cotton wipes impregnated with a solution containing Hy-Ter® formulation (sodium hyaluronate and natural extract from tea tree leaves, Melaleuca alternifolia) and Aloe extract, which clean, soften, soothe, and have a decongestant effect.
  • ACUVER® blefa contains natural anti-inflammatory substances and an antiseptic for the purpose of quickly relieving symptoms.
  • The Hy-Ter® formulation makes ACUVER® blefa particularly intended for maintaining eyelid and eyelash hygiene during the treatment of blepharitis/blepharo-conjunctivitis, as well as in the case of chalazion.
About the product
In posterior blepharitis, the Meibomian glands are clogged. These glands secrete the lipid component of the tear film that prevents its evaporation. Combined use of wipes and eyelid massage with a warm compress enables the opening and cleaning of these glands to ensure natural production of lipids necessary for a healthy tear film.

Cleaning with wipes alone is recommended during the treatment of bacterial and allergic conjunctivitis and as an antiseptic treatment before and after surgical interventions.

Packaging: 28 disposable wipes + 1 warming compress.

  1. Heat the compress until the color changes (at that moment, the ideal temperature for effective eyelid massage is achieved). In case the compress stops changing color before the expiration date, it can still be heated and used normally.

  2. Massage the eyelid with the warm compress for 3-5 minutes, with gentle pressure.

  3. Immediately after applying the warm compress, remove the wipe by opening the sachet by tearing along the designated side notch.

  4. Unfold the wipe and carefully clean the eyelids and eyelashes from the inner corner of the eye to the outer, keeping the eye closed.
