Simaktiv is a combination of two active substances in one tablet, whose effects complement each other. It contains 50 mg simethicone and 300 mg activated charcoal.
SIMETHICONE
Organic compound (polydimethylsiloxane) that has been used for decades to relieve bloating and gas in the stomach. It acts exclusively physically by reducing the surface tension of gas bubbles in the intestines, leading to their bursting. The released gases can be resorbed through the intestinal wall or eliminated from the body by intestinal peristalsis (intestinal movements).
ACTIVATED CHARCOAL
Intestinal adsorbent that binds toxins, gases, microorganisms, and their toxins. Together with the substances it has bound, it is excreted from the body via stool. It has a great binding capacity enabled by numerous small and large crevices on the particle surface.
Thanks to the action of both active substances, belching is reduced, the stomach becomes soft, less bloated, and stomach pains and cramps disappear. It reduces gas release and normalizes digestion.
