One sachet of Spedifen® 400 granules for oral solution contains 400 mg of ibuprofen (in the form of ibuprofen-arginate salt). The drug Spedifen® 400 belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that relieve pain and inflammation, and reduce elevated body temperature.
Spedifen® 400 contains the active substance ibuprofen in the form of arginine salt. Thanks to arginine, it is soluble in water and is absorbed very quickly after oral administration – faster than other pharmaceutical forms. The availability in the plasma is significantly higher during the first hour after administration, which means that it exhibits an analgesic effect already in 15 minutes.
